Map of Arcelia

Welcome to Arcelia – a world of feuding realms and cursed elemental magic.

I’ve commissioned the most gorgeous map of Arcelia – the world in which THE LAST STARBORN SEER is set – from map-maker extraordinaire Andrés Aguirre Jurado. It really helped me to have the map while I was drafting and editing my manuscript. Not only did it make Arcelia feel even more real to me, but I was able to use it as a reference tool while crafting and refining my story.

Working with Andres on this map was such a fulfilling experience. He managed to create magic out of my frankly atrocious sketches and I love all the in-world details he was able to shoehorn into the map – such as Arcelia’s triple moons and the Guardian creatures in the realm roundels.

It’s a truth universally acknowledged, that a fantasy book in possession of complex world-building, must be in want of a map! And I’m so grateful THE LAST STARBORN SEER has such a beautiful one.
